Three Things You Can Do To Boost Your Metabolism And Feel Better

As you age, your metabolism naturally slows down. What you used to be get away with in terms of caloric intake you simply can’t anymore.

For most people, as they move out of their twenties and into their thirties and fourties, their body chemistry changes and they just don’t burn the calories that they once did.

For this reason, a few conscious changes are in order that can make all of the difference with respect to not only your metabolism, but also your overall health.

American Eating Habits Are Completely Backwards

Its the weirdest thing…when, later in life, you discover that everything you have been taught about eating has been fundamentally flawed since you were taught it.

This is exactly what heppened to me as I pondered my miserable condition that one week in March as I lay in bed sick with a virus that I had picked up somewhere along the way.

I remember feeling exhausted. I was sweating, and I was running a pretty high fever (that I never measured).

As I lay there in bed, I remember thinking to myself: “Wow…I really feel weak. I really need to eat something healthy.”

As I lay there, the first thing that popped into my head was a hot bowl of vegetable soup, you know, comfort food for someone with a cold virus of some sort.
