As more and more businesses start to trade internationally, there is an increasing need for an understanding of English, as this is a language in which many business transactions take place. Understanding the legal language is another step for international law and business students.
Trading and communicating on an international level is becoming normal practice for many of the world’s largest companies. Businesses and law firms need to communicate with people from all countries; people who speak a wide variety of languages. In order to facilitate a comfortable understanding with less room for misinterpretation, it has become necessary for international firms to be able to demonstrate a certain degree of expertise in a common language. Throughout the international community, that language is most commonly English.
