I hate to admit that this is exactly what happened to me. I thought one database was another; and then without even realizing my mistake for about an hour, the database was deleted, and my blog site was down.
Wow. Did that happen?
Yes, it did. I confirmed it.
I didn’t think I would leave a generic title on the database name, and I thought it would be better to have more space and delete the extra database from a website I no longer used. Was it the extra site I no longer used? Nope. Like I said, I confirmed my deletion.
My lights went off, and now I’m panicking, because I now have no idea how to get my blog site back up and running. Research. Google. Search. Look. So much to look at. Finally, I gave in—and being luckily to have a website friend—I asked him to help me out. He was happy to.
