The enchanting land of India is blessed with several beautiful species of animals and birds. However, the sad part is that most of the species are on the verge of extinction because of increasing urbanization, rapid industrialization, ever-increasing pollution, illegal trade and poaching. However, as well said by some of the people “it is better now than never”, the Indian government has built many wildlife sanctuaries and national parks in various parts of the country, where the invaluable treasure of wildlife can be protected.
The role of education in protecting the precious wildlife species of India must never be underestimated. Taking a cue from the government to preserve endangered animals, especially the tiger, the Central Board of secondary Education (CBSE), a most well-known school board in India that affiliates public and private schools, has decided to conduct an online test on Wildlife Conservation .The main objective of organizing this test is to create awareness among the children about the endangered species of animals. After all, these children are the future businessmen or the ministers who can work on protecting the animals and precious resources of the country. The competition will go in a long way in infusing a sense of a responsibility among the students.
