Work on your area of specialization.

What is your business good at? Are the products you offer unique in your neighborhood? Many start-up businesses fail for various reasons, and one of the most common one is the lack of originality for their business concept. If you offer the same services and products like the ones offered in an already trusted shop, chances are a lot of customers will simply continue to patronize those old businesses. It’s important to have an edge and a unique advantage so you can also make your business stand out among the competition.

Do a market research.

How to Maintain a Positive Attitude on a Bariatric Diet

After the work of undergoing weight loss surgery, you face the next step: living a bariatric diet so you can lose the weight you want and keep it off. However, staying encouraged while waiting for the pounds come off can be a challenge. What can you do to keep your spirits up?

Stick with the friends that matter

Whether due to jealousy or unproductive judgment, not everyone will appreciate your weight loss surgery. Stay away from those people. Ditto for anyone critical of your new eating habits. Your health and well-being depend on adhering to a strict diet and you owe it to yourself to maintain it and avoid complications. Your true friends will be there for you and do their best to understand or at least learn about your new lifestyle. Unsure who your true friends are? Look for the ones who supported you through your surgery process and cheer you on as your routine changes.

Bariatric Diet Tips

Bariatric diets following weight loss surgery are strict for a reason. Not only do you want to lose weight and keep it off; you want to treat your new body well, particularly a body that is no longer capable of consuming as much food.  How can you keep the fun in food while maintaining a stringent bariatric diet? Follow these tips for a delicious outcome:

1. Cook your food well: Digestion of dense and fibrous foods such as fruits, vegetables, and meat can be difficult if not prepared properly.  A smaller stomach contains less acid to help with the breakdown of food materials. To accommodate your new body, cook food thoroughly and chew it well. Low-calorie cooking methods include boiling and steaming, which help maintain the highest nutritional content in your food. Mix extra virgin olive oil with a little lemon or fresh-squeezed fruit juice for a yummy and guilt-free glaze.

Food Tripping 101 in Thailand

Food is one of the best parts about traveling and if you’re looking for a place with cheap and yummy food, Thailand is the place to be. Where else can you get a small pack of strawberries for 67 cents? FYI, one Thailand Baht (THB) is equivalent to .03 $. The strawberries my best friend Laine and I found sold on the streets was worth 20 THB, a steal if you ask me.

Mad about Pad Thai

If you’re crazy about Thai food then you have to splurge on all the pad thai you can eat! You can get this yummy dish practically everywhere. If you’re not choosy about places, you can actually eat on the sides of the streets where vendors cook it using raw ingredients. Laine and I found this little resto near the Chao Phraya River, where we ate our lunch before we crossed over to Wat Arun. Their prices depend on serving size. We found that a 50 THB serving is enough for one person while the bigger portions 70-90, can serve more two or more people. Pad thai sold on the streets is even cheaper so you can eat your fill of this tasty dish.

Plan & Choose the best catering for your Wedding Occasion

Wedding is one of the most important events in the life of a person. Thus each and everything associated with this event should be perfect. A lot of budget is involved with a wedding ceremony. Among all other things the most important thing is the food that is served to the guests. This depends a lot on the caterer that has been hired to care of the whole process.

One of the most important things that he/she should be aware of is the ability of the catering company to carry out their work in certain areas. There are many caterers who are comfortable working in churches, meeting halls and lawns of the houses. There are even catering companies that are unable to handle large number of guests. Their services are limited and the can satisfy only a portion of the catering need of the client. Thus it is always a good idea to look for some catering company that can offer a variety of services.
