Audi A4 Avant Engine Is Fabulous
The introduction of Audi A4’s fourth generation model was in Frankfurt Auto Show in year 2007. But after half of a year later in Geneva Motor Show in year 2008, the public saw its Avant body style for the first time. The new A4 Avant had a better stability and weight distribution was improved, even the critics praised its use of Audi Modular Longitudinal Platform. The front overhang was reduced and the power-trains position was re-adjusted. The new model of A4 Avant had lightweight steel components, longer wheelbase and in came the new technological features: Servotronic steering, electronic park brake and MMI system. Audi A4 Avant now stands equal to its traditional rivals, the Mercedes C-Class and the BMW 3-Series, these new models drive as well as they looks.
The new model comes with seven-spoke alloy wheels as standard, but on the options list, there are five variations are available. S, SE and S-line (with sporty details added to the interior and exterior to the S-line) are the three available trim levels. The steering of Audi A4 Avant has improved and accurate. The DSG twin-clutch gearbox is brilliant and a worthy option, there’s a superb Audi Drive Select (ADS) system which enables the drivers to sharpen the throttle response, adjust the dampers and optimise the power steering. The A4 claimed a five-star rating for adult protection by the Euro NCAP. As a standard all models feature Electronic Stability Programme, other considerable options are the hi-tech lane assist and the side assist system with blind spot warning.
