Recently, I pulled Google Adsense from TheBitBot.Com because our site is migrating to an Adsense monetized site to an affiliate/lead-generation site.

Some think I’m crazy because Adsense has been a great earner for TheBitBot.Com in recent years. So why the change???

Well, there is a problem with Adsense…its a traffic leak, meaning, its specifically designed to take leads away from your page/site.

Any leak in/on your site lessens the chances of that visitor filling out an optin for to join your list or purchasing a product that you are affiliated with.

Google Adsense Revisited

I have been working with Google Adsense too long to just give it up however. I mean, its such an eash way to monetize a website and you get paid if people buy or not…because its CPC.

For that very reason, we are separating Adsense from TheBitBOt.Com and putting it on a totally brand new site I just put up this very morning. I call it: "It Just Makes Adsense".

I know. I know. That is a crazy title for an MFA site, but we fell in love with it when we saw it. What’s even funnier is the byline: "If It Doesn’t Make Sense, It Probably Makes Great Adsense"

That byline is a plug on all low quality MFA site content where you see a ton of spun articles and autogenerate garbage. This site will be nothing like that.

The Adsense Strategy

The strategy for this site will be based around long-tail low competition keywords and solid on-site optimization. TheBitBot.Com started out that way and that was the reason we were successful with Adsense there, but mixing monetization methods turned out to yield conflicting results, so we had to pull it.

We will be using the WordPress SEO by Yoast plugin to optimize the site and are only planning light to moderate backlinking to the site, the majority of which will come from blog commenting and link bait.

We will not be generating any content for syndication or guest posting as all of the content will be exclusively for the site.

We will be adding Google Adsense text link blocks only and only in the hottest parts of the heat map.

Personally, I’m excited about this project because its all about having fun with Adsense, my all time favorite monetization method.

If you know what you’re doing with Google Adsense, you can "make bank" with it, but you have to stick to a formula.
